Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm is an ideal getaway at any time of year, whether in the warmth of summer or the occasional snow of winter. The farm is set in a valley that speaks to your senses, against the unique landscape of succulents and renosterbos, bordered by breath-taking mountains of the Klein Karoo.

The owners have taken great care not to over commercialise the facilities, creating a welcoming farm style atmosphere. The accommodation comprises of six separate units: Bungalow, De Kraal, Willows Cottage and the original old manor house which is divided into three separate units, namely De Oude Opstal, Bergzicht Cottage and Dalzicht Cottage. There is also an attractive camp site comprising 29 separate stands.

The extensive property offers a variety of activities. It is an ideal destination for hikers, campers, mountain bikers, 4×4 touring groups, stargazers, freshwater fishermen, birdwatchers and weekenders. De Oude Opstal is furnished to house groups and even small conferences.

From the Press

  • Leeuwenboschfontein is cradled within the confluence of three biomes: The central mountain Renosterveld, the little succulent Karoo and the lowland succulent Karoo. This makes for a diverse mix of flora and fauna, but it also makes the endemic environment especially sensitive. The area is superb for stargazing, hiking, mountain-biking, abseiling, microlighting and bird-watching.
